Get ready for a perfectly themed evening full of sweet treats, great company, and hands-on creativity.

I'm teaming up with SLC Cookbook Club—Salt Lake’s women-only cookbook club—for an evening of pie sharing and pottery making!

First up, bring your favorite homemade pie (and the recipe!) to share during a relaxed social hour filled with sweet treats, chill vibes, and probably a little bit of Love Island chatter.

Then, we’ll roll up our sleeves for a hands-on pottery workshop led by Kal’s Clay & Crafts, where you’ll create your very own mini ceramic pie dish—because obviously we love a good theme. This is completely beginner-friendly, no experience needed!

What's included:

✨ A 6" hand-built mini pie dish made by you

✨ All clay, tools, materials, and firing

✨ Your choice from 12 glaze colors

✨ Pickup at Sugar Space Cafe a few weeks later after it's fired

Important details:

📝 This is a cookbook club event, so yes—you must bring a homemade pie to attend!🍽 Don’t forget to bring your recipe to share (we love a good swap).

🍹 Sugar Space Cafe will be open all evening slinging food and drinks: coffee, boba, and alcohol (must order food to purchase alcohol—don’t worry, snacks start at just a couple bucks).

This event is all about gathering with other women, sharing something you made, and leaving with something you made, too. Can’t wait to see your crusts and your clay!
