About this Event

Cancer sucks and “being brave” doesn’t pay medical bills. Enter THE Cancer Event to End All Cancer (*Events)... a mildly unhinged music-fueled fundraiser that will be way more fun than it should be for something with the word “cancer” in the title.

There will be bands. There will be beer. There will be random decorations that may or may not make sense, but you won’t care because the vibes will be so damn good for a cause that is so damn good.

We are interrupting your routinely scheduled weekend to support and celebrate those whose lives have been interrupted by cancer. All proceeds go to the Allyson Whitney Foundation, which gives real, practical support to adolescents and young adults with rare cancers.

Let’s raise money and raise hell as we shake our fists (and hips) at cancer and support a pivotal resource for the cancer community.

(*We can’t legally promise this fever-dream of an event will end all cancer, but it may alter the future of cancer events as we know them.)

Info: Are you a runner? We got you! Join for a 5k or 10k Fun Run with Halfway Crook's Run Club to kick off the night's festivities! Enjoy the summer night breeze while jogging through the Summerhill/Grant Park neighborhoods before enjoying a beer and some sweet sweet vibes. All levels, all paces, no pressure. Just a few miles, good company, and a cold lager at the end. *We cannot guarantee celebrities on the course, but we are all celebrities in our own way.
