COOKING CLASS: New York's Famous Bagels & Spreads
About this Event
COME LEARN TO MAKE BAGELS (and don't forget the schmear!)
Have you ever wondered what it is that makes New York Bagels simply the best? Join RCNYC at Butler Bakeshop & Espresso Bar for a one-of-a-kind class that will teach you the art of making your very own bagels from scratch! You will learn the process from kneading the dough, shaping it into bagels, proving the dough, boiling and then baking your bagels. Guests will make 4 bagels each during class and also take home your own dough to recreate the magic in your own home kitchen. You will add your topping of choice to each bagel and even make two different spreads to enjoy and take home with you.
Our Chef Instructor will create unique cream cheese spreads recipes using local and season ingredients, one sweet, and one savory. Guests will be provided with take away containers for their cream cheese and paper bags to bring their bagels home.
No experience is required! All the equipment and ingredients will be provided. Cocusocial's events are meant to be casual and fun, not intense.
