21+ with valid ID. Five Finger Disco celebrates the contributions of Black women and femmes in dance music and centers their experiences on the dancefloor. There is absolutely zero tolerance for racism, misogyny, transphobia, ableism, or being an asshole at FFD or at El Rio! Come correct, or don't come at all!

Accessibility Information

El Rio is located at on Mission between Ceasar Chavez and Valencia, with ramps from the street. The entrance, main bar, and back bar are all one level. The patio has 4 stairs down onto the dance floor, and a long ramp at the far end. The stage/platform has 2 steps up and no ramp. The main bar area and the far end of the patio has lots of seating and some tables. The main dance floor area has limited seating.

There are several restrooms throughout the space, including an accessible restroom in the main bar and one in the back bar.

El Rio has non-alcoholic drink options available for purchase.
