Fried Chicken with Stephanie & Vivian

Join Chef Stephanie and Vivian of Sweet Potatoes restaurant as they return to Southern Home & Kitchen for an evening of Southern cooking at its finest!

They will be frying chicken in cast iron skillets much like grandma used to do with a little fat-back cooked with it for seasoning. A simple salad with greens you may have in your summer garden spiced up with a local favorite, Texas Pete! Chef Stephanie will also show you how to make an easy vinaigrette that can be used for various dishes. They will also share the “secret” of their notable Sweet Potato Cornbread.
