Join us for a special two-part workshop series weaving together craft and ceremony in celebration of Chao Dao, the Way of Tea.

In this intimate artisinal class, we explore the beauty of both making and mindfulness—where form meets ritual, and presence becomes art. Lwarn the process behind the making of the tea set and the the art of the ritual.

Part I: The Making

Led by ceramicist Anthony Urango of Animal House Pottery, this hands-on workshop will guide participants in creating a traditional side-handle teapot and two tea bowls—a complete Chao Dao tea set. Through shaping and detailing, each piece becomes a personal vessel for your own tea ritual.

Part II: The Ceremony

Led by Kamryn Grace of Mojave House of Tea, this sacred tea ceremony honors the ancient lineage of tea as a path to stillness.Allow the presence of water, leaf, and fire to guide you into deep listening, seasonal rhythm, and quiet connection with self, nature, and the spirit of tea.
