Nebraska Ag Bus Tour
About this Event
The bus will pick-up riders at the Norfolk, NE Walmart parking lot and Neligh fairgounds then head to Bladen for the Green Cover Field Day. Enjoy a day full of learning and networking with like-minded producers, plus in-depth tours of their extensive cover crop test plots. Locally sourced lunch will be provided during the field day.
Choose to attend sessions focused on these topics:
- Legumes and Broadleaves Cover Crop Tour
- Cover Crop Mixes and Corn Interseeding Tour
- Growing Grasses for Livestock Forage
- Integrating Cover Crops into your Garden or Homestead
- Equipment Demonstration
- Hands-on Activity with in-field Soil Testing
At the concludion of the field day visit another local farm transitioning from irrigated row crops to a dryland forage based grazing system.

*Minimum number of riders is required for the coach, if we don't have the minimum number we will provide transportation in smaller vehicles.
