Join SICSA Pet Adoption and Wellness Center and the Therapeutic Riding Institute for a morning of mindfulness and rejuvination with animals! Guests will enjoy Puppy Yoga, Grounding and Connecting with Horses, and Mindful Coloring and Eating. Detailed activity descriptions can be found below.

Guests will be broken up into groups of 10 and spend an hour at each activity. If you plan to attend with a friend, please purchase tickets together or make note of the people you wish to be grouped with in your order form.

All guests will need to wear comfortable, moveable clothing. Close-toed shoes must be worn during the horse-related activities. Guests should also plan to bring their own yoga mat or blanket for the puppy yoga portion of the event. All guests must fill out the required form sent via email to registraints following ticket purchase.

Puppy Yoga

Enjoy a fun, hour-long yoga class with some of SICSA's adoptable puppies! This class will be a relaxed, simple flow. Yogis of all levels and abilities are welcome. Expect plenty of puppy energy and an occassional break for belly rubs.

Grounding and Connecting with Horses

In this peaceful, nature-based session, we will step into the pasture to connect with horses in a calm and grounding way. Surrounded by open space and fresh air, participants will be invited to engage in gentle, mindful grooming – focusing on the rhythm of the brush, the texture of the horse’s coat, and the quiet, nonverbal connection between human and animal. This unhurried time with the horses encourages presence, emotional regulation, and a deep sense of calm. No prior horse experience is needed – just a willingness to slow down, observe, and connect.

Mindful Coloring and Eating Activity

Join us for a calming and restorative session that combines two simple, yet powerful mindfulness practices: coloring and eating. We’ll being with quiet, focused time spent coloring mandalas – allowing the repetitive patterns and gentle creativity to center your thoughts and ease stress.

We will also offer a mindful eating experience, where you’ll savor simple food items with full awareness – engaging all five senses to connect more deeply with the present moment. This activity is designed to help you slow down, reduce anxiety, and build a deeper sense of self awareness and peace.
