About this Event

Sky Farm LIC is a rooftop educational farm run by the Variety Boys and Girls Club of Queens. 2025 is our second season, and we're happy to announce we're expanding our programming to involve a series of community workshops.

Join us on Friday October 17th for our final community workshop of 2025: farm and garden crop planning. Discuss with our farm crew all the ins and outs of how to prepare your farm or garden for 2026 from seed selection, crop rotations, companion planting, succession planting, estimating yields, and more. Enjoy some snacks made with produce from our farm, and take home some resources and fall and winter themed recipes.

Farm and Garden Crop Planning runs from 3-6PM. Feel free to join late.
