Placer Theatre Ballet Nutcracker Auditions 2025
Auditions for The Nutcracker will be held on Sunday, August 10th at 201 Harding Blvd, Roseville CA. Please review the audition and production information below and complete the online Dancer Registration form via the link below prior to auditions. The agenda for your age group is listed above.

Callbacks are utilized by our directors to review some dancers in different groupings or with different choreography. If the directors request a callback for a dancer to return on August 17, you will be contacted via email with a specific time. Not all dancers will need to attend callbacks on the 17th, and this does not mean you will not be cast. Likewise, callback requests do not indicate absolute casting in our production.

Dress is proper ballet attire:
- Girls: leotards and tights, ballet shoes; hair in a ballet bun
- Boys: tights/shorts, solid black or white t-shirt, ballet shoes; hair neat and off face
- No additional tops, pants, shorts, skirts etc. during auditions.
- Please note, your dancer may be asked to stay longer than the posted audition times if needed.
- Roles may change, be added or eliminated, depending on available dancers.
- Not every dancer is guaranteed a role.

Info: * If you are under age 13 and en pointe, the directors may invite you to stay for the 2:15 audition
