Shockwave Volleyball Tryouts

We are now accepting registrations for our upcoming volleyball club tryouts! This is an opportunity for athletes committed to growth, discipline, and competitive play to join a high-level training environment and represent our club in the upcoming season.

Tryout Information:

• Date: July 31st, 2025
• Location: Tecumseh High School; 760 Brown St, Tecumseh, MI 49286
• Time: 3:00PM- 5:00PM
• Eligibility: 9th Grade (Fall of 2025) - 15U & 11th Grade (Fall of 2025) - 17U *Ages in between are welcome to tryout, but placement on a team is not guaranteed.

• When registering, please select the grade your athlete will be entering in Fall 2025. Even if your athlete is age-eligible to play in a younger division, we ask that you still register according to their grade.

• If your athlete will be older than the typical age for their grade level as of July 1, 2026, no worries—please go ahead and register by grade, and just send us a quick email at c2hvY2t3YXZldmIyMyB8IGdtYWlsICEgY29t so we can note it internally and make any necessary adjustments.

• To participate, all athletes must be registered in advance. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early, ready with appropriate gear, water, and a great attitude! Evaluations will focus on skill, teamwork, attitude, and potential.

Players should wear a t-shirt/jersey with their name or a number on it to each open gym/tryout they attend if able.

Register now to secure your place. $10 cash at the door day of tryouts will also be accepted.

Waivers are required before tryouts; can be sent electronically or brought in hand to tryouts.

• Within one week of tryouts being completed, you’ll receive an email with your team placement.
• From the time that email is sent, you’ll have 24 hours to accept or decline your spot.
• If you choose to accept, a $100 deposit will be required to reserve your place on the team. After that, you’ll receive a follow-up email with details to begin the payment and registration process for the season.
