A fantastic Audition/Workshop for our end of year play. Make new friends, do some acting, and embody the character of your choosing.

About this Event

Mid-Coast Community Theatre invites you to be part of our end of year play. The Legend of Robin Hood... Sort of. A spoof on the classic tale of Robin Hood with a dystopian twist.

In this Audition/Workshop you'll do acting exercises and games, movements, vocal warmups, get to try out for a part of your choosing and work in groups to bring the best out of your characters in scene work.

Whether you're new to theatre or an experienced veteran; everyone is welcome.

If you didn't get the role, don't worry as you can also understudy. If you decide acting isn't for you, that's okay cause we're also looking for crew and backstage hands.

Please wear comfortable clothes as we'll be moving.

Info: Get to know your fellow auditionees and the director.

Acting Activities

Info: Learn some acting exercises from vocal warm-ups, movements to stretches and acting games.

🕑: 11:40 AM - 12:00 PM
Lunch

Info: After some acting training, you deserve a break. Have some water and snacks provided, be sure to bring your own lunch.

🕑: 12:00 PM - 02:00 PM
Scene Work

Info: Break off into groups and work on scenes from the play.
