Steeping in Tension: Conflict Styles & Practicing Healthy Conversations
About this Event
Steeping in TensionRecognizing Conflict Styles & Practicing Healthy Conversations
Join us for the fifth session of Brew & Bloom, a biweekly emotional wellness residency hosted by Inner Matters at Sip & Sonder in Inglewood.
Conflict is uncomfortable — but it doesn’t have to be destructive.
In this workshop, we’ll explore the different ways people approach conflict, from avoidant to aggressive and everything in between. You'll learn to identify your own conflict style, recognize common triggers, and practice tools for staying grounded in tough conversations.
We’ll reflect, journal, and role-play real-life scenarios in a low-pressure, supportive space. Leave with more confidence in your voice and tools to handle tension without losing connection.
What to Expect:
- A welcoming, no-pressure vibe
- A brief guided activity and creative journaling
- Group discussion and reflection
- Take-home prompts to keep blooming between sessions
- Drinks available for purchase before and after the session
