Kids' Writing Workshop with the Authors of Mrs. Z's Class! | Day 3

If your young reader has a passion for storytelling – or if they're looking for something new and exciting to try this summer – this is the perfect opportunity to explore the world of writing. We are so excited to have the authors of the Mrs. Z's Class series in-store with free workshops for budding writers!

The second of the three sessions will be guided by RAJANI LAROCCA, author of , and TRACEY BAPTISTE, author of !

We'll begin with an introduction to the authors and their work followed by a short conversation about elements of writing (i.e. character development, dialogue, pacing, etc.) before getting into hands-on, guided exercises.

These workshops are designed for young writers from six to nine years old with limited spots available for attendees and their grownups.

We highly recommend reading one or more books in the Mrs. Z's Class series to prepare – they can be read in any order! On the day of the workshop, all you'll need is a notebook and a pencil or pen (and a passion for writing!).

And if you can't make it on this date, don't worry! We're offering three different workshops with different authors from the series. You're welcome to go to as many or as few of the days as you're able to as long as spots are available.
