Elevate Your Ride - Reining Fundamentals with Nina Halvorson
About this Event
Join us for an exciting clinic focused on the fundamentals of reining, taught by accomplished horsewoman Nina Halvorson. This clinic is designed for riders of all levels who want to develop a strong foundation in reining or refine their technique.
Nina will cover essential elements such as correct body position, guiding and control, effective use of leg and rein cues, and the building blocks of maneuvers like circles, stops, and rollbacks.
With her clear, encouraging teaching style and deep understanding of the sport, Nina creates a supportive environment where horses and riders can learn and grow together. Whether you're new to reining or looking to sharpen your skills, this clinic will give you the tools and confidence to take your riding to the next level.
There are two groups: Morning (9am-12pm) and Afternoon (1pm-4pm).
- The morning group is intended for those who have no or little experience with reining.
- The afternoon group is intended for those who have some exposure to reining, maybe have ridden in a show or two, or have excellent body control in their horses.
Elevate Your Ride clinics are a monthly series - each month is a new clinician and/or discipline! All skill levels and riders are welcome. Each month will be a different price and a different number of seats open, so keep an eye out on our social media pages for upcoming clinic announcements.
