About this Event
4th Annual Black Night,Brown Hope: Dance is Connection
Black Nights, Brown Hope is annual special event to honor Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) Mental Health Month in July. This one-of-a-kind evening features different modes of artistic expression to heal and overcome mental health challenges.
This year, we are focusing on how movement can help us build body awareness, help us overcome mental health challenges, and increase connectivity across culture groups, age, and more. Put on your favorite black outfit and get ready to groove to the music. Let's create unforgettable memories on the dance floor. This event is a Flint ReCast Summit Excursion for the annual Mental Health Summit. Flint ReCast is a program of the Greater Flint Health Coalition.
** Event Guests - Please bring a comfortable outfit to change into so you can comfortably get your body moving with us.
