Blacks Creek Birding Hike
About this Event
Space is limited. To affirm a place at this event, registration is required. Please make sure ALL fields are filled out in the registration form and a confirmation email is received.
Join us as we explore the area of Blacks Creek, which should have some fun birds to see this time of year. We will have a scope to see birds on the water and will walk around the South end of the water to see shore birds and songbirds in the trees
Please note, the terrain can be tough walking as it can be quite uneven in places and the route will be dependent on the water level. Paths can be muddy depending on various factors, so please wear good shoes.
All levels are welcome. Binoculars will be available if needed.
Participants younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants younger than 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability release.
Time: 8:00 - 11:00am. Please arrive 10 - 15 minutes early so we can start on time.
We will meet in the parking lot at the Albertsons near E Gowen and S Federal Way, in southeast Boise.
What to Bring: Bring closed toe shoes, binoculars, and some water. No dogs please.
Restroom Availability: Restrooms will be available in the parking lot.
Contact Information: Please text trip leader Alec at (208)286-5618 with any questions.
