Mentors! WELCOME to Edge4Vets on Oct 24!
Our in-person workshop helps veterans translate their military strengths into "tools" for civilian success, then we connect them to decision-makers at our aviation partner companies to explore opportunities for good jobs that can lead to great careers.
As a "workshop mentor" you'll be providing them with feedback during the training session.
Join us Oct 24 from 9:30am to 3pm when Vaughn College will host our next in-person session - in partnership with the NYC Dept of Veterans' Services, KAAMCO Cargo, JFK Cargo Association, Macquarie Group and other leaders.
The workshop is conducted by the Human Resiliency Institute at Fordham. Register today!
This MENTOR ORIENTATION video will show you how the program works to support veterans to become "job ready," and the role you as a "workshop mentor" provide to assist them in the learning process:
The program, which has been offered since 2011 for 3000 veterans in nine states, is designed to put our participating veterans on a pathway to success in life.
