A talk about the role of MRI (and other imaging modalities) in the diagnosis and management of knee conditions by Mr Ian McDermott, Consultant Knee Surgeon.
In this interactive session we will cover:
- when to refer for imaging
- what imaging is best in which scenarios
- how reliable is imaging
- how to put imaging results in context
all with reference specifically to conditions of the knee joint.
Mr Ian McDermott is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising purely in knees. He is the founder and the Managing Partner of the London Sports Orthopaedics practice, and he is also Professor Emeritus at London Southbank Universityโs School of Physiotherapy. Mr McDermott is guaranteed to give a fast, detailed, fact-packed, hard-hitting and humorous expert summary of the role of imaging in โkneesโ โ and this is a CPD session not to be missed!
