Fire Safety in Multifamily Design

About this Event

A speaker with FireBot Fire Suppression will address the causes of structural fires in multifamily buildings, the financial and legal impact of fires (as well as the human cost) and compare fire suppression and mitigation devices.

This course will help participanst:

• Understand the particular fire risks in multifamily buildings and know the common causes of residential fires.
• Be able describe and evaluate the various fire suppresssion systems and devices.
• Be able to identify the relevant building codes and standards that address fire safety in multifamily buildings.
• Understand how fire risk management can impact insurance coverage
• Learn from real world examples and be able to apply those lessons to their own projects.
