Build, craft, and create at “Tiny Builders, Big Ideas” on August 9! A fun, eco-friendly art day for kids at Little Nestlings in West Linn!

About this Event

We’re excited to bring back our popular event, “Tiny Builders, Big Ideas: Fun with Recycled Art,” an event where kids can express themselves through imaginative building and crafting using recyclable items.

This event is designed to spark the creativity of little eco-warriors while teaching them the importance of reusing and recycling materials in new and exciting ways. From cardboard to bottle caps, fabric scraps to egg cartons, the possibilities are endless!

Here’s what’s in store for you and your little ones:

We'll gather as a group for a reading of Not A Box by Antoinette Portis

Then we'll head into the atelier where you'll find a wide variety of recyclable materials for kids to explore and use. Families are welcome to bring their own recyclables to add to the creative fun. Kids will have the freedom to craft and create whatever their imagination inspires!

We’re putting a heavy emphasis on self-expression, creativity, and eco-consciousness. Whether your child dreams of building a robot, creating a colorful collage, or constructing their own unique invention, this event provides the perfect space to bring those ideas to life – all while learning about sustainability!

Be sure to register in advance to secure your spot! We can’t wait to see what your child will create.
