Use your own quilted fabric to sew your choice of High Tops, Mid Tops or Low Top Sneakers

Learn to use your self-quilted fabric to sew sneaker tops and attach them to purchased rubber soles. The creative possibilities are endless! Sew a pair of sewing themed shoes for attending sewing events. Or sew an Aloha themed pair to accompany you on vacation. Score points with the young ones in your life when you present them with super hero or cartoon character shoes. Itβs not too early to plan for the holidays.
You have the choice of making high-tops, mid tops or low tops. The workshop will lead you through all the steps to make one shoe and will get you to the point where you can complete the second shoe at home. You will need to purchase a shoe kit beforehand, choose fabric and quilt it prior to the workshop. Sneakers use small amounts of fabric so this can be a great scrap busting project. And the best part is itβs so fun!

Cost: ASG Members: Early Bird price $45 until August 11, $55 afterward. Non-members: $65. Mandatory purchase of $90 sneaker kit required. Check the supply list for additional items needed.
