It's time to get your hands messy! In our hands-on format, our La Scuola Chef will guide you through how to make tortellini.

About this Event

About this Class: It’s time to get your hands messy! In our hands-on format, you’ll be diving right in and making our dish with ingredients prepared by our Eataly kitchens. You will then take your culinary creation home with you.

After the hands-on portion, watch our La Scuola Chef demo how to make the star dish with a signature sauce!

About this Dish: One of the most famous pasta shapes from Italy, tortellini are a stuffed, ring-shaped pasta originally from Emilia-Romagna. A famous legend says the chef who invented this new pasta did so after seeing the goddess Venus and shaped it after her belly button. Unlike other pasta shapes, tortellini are usually reserved for lavish times of celebration and are considered a luxury food, stuffed with decadent fillings like prosciutto, mortadella, veal, and Parmigiano Reggiano® DOP.

In this Hands-On Class You Will:

  • Learn about the traditions and culture of tortellini
  • Observe as our Scuola Chef teaches the group how to make tortellini
  • Shape your own tortellini by hand
  • Enjoy a beautifully curated Italian brunch, featuring bakery favorites, savory bites, and indulgent sweets—all served with sparkling cocktails and warm hospitality
