Balch Patio Sessions are back with a curated live music series thatβs intimate, high quality, and always a little bit magical. Come for the evening or make a getaway of it.
Ben Johnson is an emerging voice in the PNW Americana scene and a featured Portland Folk Fest artist, whose style offers a stark portrait of real American life.
With a smoky, story-rich sound, Ben channels the grit and soul of Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Chris Stapleton, and Neil Young. His golden-era western folk evokes the lonesome West, inviting listeners into songs that feel timeless and personal.
COST: Live music at the Balch is always free (cover charge waived) for guests lodging or dining at the hotel.
DINING: Tables (full service) are by reservation. Lawn seating is open with counter service at Bistro 1907. No outside food or beverage, please & thanks!
