This 2 hour Rooftop Workshop is perfect for those who a looking to learn a new skill, relax and unwind and socialise around delicious cake and coffee!


What is Jujitsucise?

Jujitsucise is a fitness class which focuses on strength and conditioning combined with simple but effective self-defence originating from Japanese Jujitsu. Rooted in real-world scenarios, every session is designed to build not just physical skills, but also confidence, resilience, and inner strength. Whether you’re looking to get fitter, feel safer, or just try something new, Jujitsucise is about unlocking your potential – from the inside out.What will you be doing?This dynamic session is designed to equip you with practical, easy-to-learn techniques to defend against grabs, punches, and common threats – including knife scenarios – in a supportive, no-ego environment. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this class blends real-world self-defence with functional fitness to leave you feeling energised, focused, and empowered. Come solo or bring your girls – this is your space to grow stronger, together.

Health and safety

All activities are led by qualified instructor Mark Saunders and take place in a respectful, professional, and supportive environment. Equipment will be provided and used correctly, and participants are encouraged to speak up about any discomfort or concerns at any time.By purchasing a ticket and attending this event, you acknowledge and accept that Jujitsucise sessions involve physical activity and controlled contact between participants. This includes supervised drills and demonstrations such as blocking, striking, and contact exercises.While all reasonable safety measures are in place – including warm-ups, clear instruction, and risk assessment – minor physical injuries may occur. These can include:• Bumps, bruises, or scrapes• Muscle soreness or strains• Occasional accidental contact during drillsJujitsucise is not a combat sport, but a structured self-defence and fitness programme designed to build physical confidence, awareness, and strength.
