About this Event

A meeting for land and resource managers, and others to learn about:

-non-native insect pests of trees not yet known to Florida, but are established and spreading elsewhere in the eastern US

-a novel private lands equipment and supplies cache for private landowners to manage invasive species

-see how a non-profit manages invasive plant species on lands conducting environmental outreach to kids

-get a brief update on plant species newly added to the FISC List of Invasive Plants

-hear about the University of Florida’s new Invasive Species Survey Group project, and how they may assist you in conducting invasive plant surveys on your managed lands

-hear brief updates from resource managers within the Six Rivers CISMA area, as well as updates from elsewhere in the state

-contribute to a panel discussion about data gaps in invasive species locations in the Six Rivers CISMA
