About the Session

Join us for an intimate morning at Wardah Books with Suhaimi Sukiman, author of Kopi, Coffee & Craft: A Personal Brew of Singapore’s Coffee Soul, for a book launch, conversation, and signing.

In collaboration with Dutch Colony Coffee Co., the session will be complemented with a live coffee brewing and guided degustation, led by Suhaimi himself, and his team of coffee professionals from Dutch Colony.

Discover the stories behind the beans, the memories etched into every cup, and the craft that has shaped Singapore’s specialty coffee culture. Attendees will enjoy a tasting experience that mirrors the spirit of the book — personal, reflective, and brewed with intention.

About the Author

Suhaimi Sukiman is a pioneer of Singapore’s specialty coffee movement. With over two decades in the industry, he has worn many hats: competitor, national barista judge, business owner, and now author. Known for his poetic approach to coffee and community, Suhaimi brings both technical mastery and emotional depth to his work—whether behind the bar or the pen. He is the co-owner of Dutch Colony Coffee Co., and Kopi, Coffee & Craft is his debut title.

About the Book

Kopi, Coffee & Craft: A Personal Brew of Singapore’s Coffee Soul is part memoir, part cultural journey, and part tribute to the people, places, and passion behind the Singapore coffee scene. Written in Suhaimi’s signature storytelling style, the book invites readers into his 25-year journey—from a young barista to a national competitor, judge, roaster, and educator. More than just a coffee book, it explores themes of identity, growth, and the quiet beauty of craftsmanship.
