About this Event

Like pottery, but intimidated by the wheel? Only have time for a one-off class? Enjoy painting and interested in bringing home a uniquely decorated piece of pottery? With the popularity of our pottery classes, Epic Art House has accumulated a lot of bisqueware, eager to be decorated and brought home.

Our instructors have divided the unglazed pieces available to decorate into several categories. Included in the price of the ticket, students can choose from a range of options, including:

Option A: two small pots

Option B: two miscellaneous pieces

Option C: one medium

Option D: one large pot

One ticket per person.

Please make sure to leave an email or phone number with your piece(s), so our team can reach out to you when they have been fired and ready to be picked up. Pieces will be fired each Saturday and can be picked up the following week.

Whether you've painted 100 pots or never picked up a brush, all are welcome! Epic Art House is a community-driven organization dedicated to fostering connection & creativity in Chicago.

What to Bring

• W e suggest wearing some clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty.
• All brushes and glazeswill be provided. So don't worry about that.

About our Teachers

Epic Art House teachers are incredibly talented individuals with a love for helping other find their full potential. They will help you learn a new skill, increase the knowledge you already havve, and have a great time during the entire process.

Nora G.

Ever since she began her ceramics career in high school Nora has loved all things clay-related and has furthered their appreciation since starting to teach. With a focus on wheel-throwing, Nora is eager to learn more about sculpting and hand-building and hopes to learn along with their students. The community aspect is Nora’s favorite part of every studio she has been to and she looks forward to making lasting connections with students and studio members alike.
