📢 The Future of Career & Technical Education: Let’s Talk!
Career & Technical Education (CTE) is evolving—are you ready to adapt with it?
Since 2018, the Don Wood Foundation has invested over $14 million into CTE programs, helping schools and training centers upgrade equipment, enhance curriculum, and create hands-on learning opportunities in welding, precision machining, pre-engineering, robotics, and more. But as the workforce landscape shifts, we are taking a deeper dive into what students and educators truly need beyond upgraded tools.
Join us for our next Community Connection Series on July 30 from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m., where Laura Macknick will be joined by CTE leaders in our area for a panel discussion around:
🔹 The biggest opportunities and challenges facing CTE today🔹 How Indiana’s updated graduation requirements impact career pathways🔹 Development of innovative partnerships with industry partners for work-based learning
🔹 How CTE leaders are preparing students for the high-tech careers of the future
Whether you are an educator, industry partner, or community leader, this session is a great chance to learn, connect, and help shape the future of CTE in our region.
📅 RSVP today and join the conversation!
