About the Instructor:
June Mena is a floral designer who founded Ceres Botanical, a Richmond-based design studio focused on highlighting local flowers in the creation of custom arrangements. She began her floral career as a grower, working on Prospect Hill Flower Farm, near Richmond, VA. After designing bouquets for the farmerβs market, she began to turn to cut flowers and found she was drawn to creating unique table centerpieces. She currently designs for local restaurants, weddings, and other events, utilizing sustainable design principles and a naturalistic, lush style.
