Ecological Restoration Tour at Wizard Ranch
About this Event
Wizard Ranch Nature Preserve is a wonderful example of eco-restoration in action. This hike will explore the native forests, savanna, and meadows which are being fostered through the restoration efforts at this preserve. In addition to the natural history of the preserve, eco-restoration techniques and concepts will be discussed.
This event is part of Horn Farm Center’s Wild & Uncommon Weekend (formally the York County Pawpaw Festival), a weekend of family-friendly events and experiences that celebrate the unique food, art, and natural landscape of York County, Pennsylvania! Lancaster Conservancy is excited to participate in this weekend of fun activities around the Susquehanna Riverlands.
