About this Event
This is a hands-on cooking class led by European-trained Chef David Plonowski of El Pica Flor Kitchen. You won’t follow recipes—you’ll learn to cook with confidence and instinct. In this class, you will:
- Prepare four one-pan meals using foundational methods
- Build sauces and flavor profiles using broths, creams, herbs, spices, and aromatics
- Learn the role of proper cooking temperatures, seasoning, and timing
- Practice using a guideline of ratios and cooking methods (provided at class)
You’ll cook these featured dishes:
- Salmon with cauliflower and lemon butter
- Chicken with mushrooms and port sauce
- Pork with fennel and sherry
- Beef with broccoli and miso-soy glaze
Chef David brings 26 years of culinary experience, starting in Salamanca, Spain, and expanding to leadership roles in four countries and more than 300 cities. His approach teaches you how to create any number of meals using one pan, quality ingredients, and solid technique.
