Series summary
In eighteen seventy-three, a bright young man walked away from a secure position in his father’s Tokyo factory in search of a more fulfilling future. A thousand kilometers to the north, a seventeen-year-old girl was forced from her farmland home by an abusive father.
A chance encounter placed them on the same mountain trail near the small village of Kamaishi, and it changed their lives forever. Thus begins the saga of Kamaishi Heritage.
Follow three generations of the Ozawa family as they encounter success and disappointment, some caused by man, others by nature. Toshi will endear you with his high moral character, mixed with moments of elevated naiveté.
