About this Event

Welcome to POW Dundalk! Piece of work is focused on creating a safe and supportive space for artists to share their experiments, ideas in progress, and works still finding their voice.

We will eat food together made by the incredible Siobhan Giblin, experience new work, play games and dance the night away 🕺

Its rare to see the messy, vulnerable side of creativity. We sometimes end up more focused on “final products” and leave little to no room for experimentation and risk-taking. There are expectaions set either by yourself or outside bodies to deliver perfection rather than explore potential, sidelining the essential moments of trial, error, and discovery that bring great ideas to life.

Piece of Work exists to push back against this system, carving out a space for freedom, curiosity, and connection—a space where we come together to let creativity breathe. As an audience, it is an opportunity to witness the process over the final product.
