Join us for a fun creative movement workshop with Pilobolus Dance Company. This program is FREE and open to ALL ages and mobility levels. No dance background or experience is necessary!

• 1-2pm - workshop with special focus on children

About Pilobolus

Internationally acclaimed dance company Pilobolus presents a full week of interactive workshops right here in Akron! Pilobolus uses a collaborative creative process to help people explore their creativity, learn to collaborate, and support well-being.

The company travels all over the world sharing classes and activities designed to complement live onstage performances or to stand alone. These workshops will be customized for all levels of mobility, and scaled for communities of all sizes.

About Akron's Heinz Poll Summer Dance Festival

Now in its 51st season, the Heinz Poll Summer Dance Festival was established to honor the legacy of Heinz Poll--the founding artistic director of Ohio Ballet. The Festival presents free public dance performances by acclaimed regional and national companies each summer in Akron parks. Each performance leaves audience members with a unique dance experience, reflecting the common thread of Poll's commitment to the highest artistic standards.
