Live like a porcupine, fight like a flea
About this Event
We will reflect on another year of organising, discuss successes and struggles, and ways to strengthen the cultural movement for Palestinian liberation.
Our gathering takes its title and organising principles from Basel Al-Araj, Palestinian intellectual and revolutionary (1984 - 2017). In his writing, the anti-colonial teachings of Baldwin and Mao encounter the multispecies ecology of Palestine. We salute his call to strategise collectively, learn from diverse tactics, and remain steadfast in resistance.
You can read the English translation of Basel Al-Araj’s essay Live Like a Porcupine, Fight Like a Flea here.
