P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome Jessica Gross to celebrate and discuss her new book, : an increasingly obsessive radio host tests the boundaries of her boyfriend's love in this unforgettable dark comedy that is by turns romantic, horrific, and profound.

Jessica will be joined in conversation by Kyle McCarthy, author . Along with a discussion and audience Q&A, Jessica will also sign copies ofOpen Wide.

  • Doors open at 6:30pm.
  • Cost of a $5 general admission ticket can be applied towards your purchase of the featured event book or any product in our café the night of an event.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jessica Gross is the author of HYSTERIA (2020), which Publishers Weekly declared “every bit a page-turner as it is a descent into sexual madness.” HYSTERIA has been optioned for TV development, and OPEN WIDE for film development. Gross’s nonfiction has appeared in the New York Times Magazine, Lilith, and the Los Angeles Review of Books, among other publications. She has taught writing at The New School and Texas Tech University and currently lives in West Texas.


ABOUT THE MODERATOR

Kyle McCarthy's work has appeared in Best American Short Stories, American Short Fiction, the Paris Review Daily, and elsewhere. Her debut novel, Everyone Knows How Much I Love You, was published by Ballantine Books in June 2020. A graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, she lives in Brooklyn, New York.
