Bloom & Build: Botanical Cyanotypes & Eco Mandalas

With artists/educators Darrian Nosworthy and Areli Castillo, youth (ages 10-15) will explore the farm, collect plant materials, and create sun prints using cyanotype paper. They will also collaboratively build temporary mandalas using natural materials.

Edgemere Farm is a volunteer-run, zero-profit urban farm with a mission of education, food justice, and providing agricultural, musical, and cultural programming to the historically underserved and environmentally disadvantaged neighborhood of Edgemere, Queens, and the Rockaway Peninsula at large.
