What is a sling library?

Thinking about carrying your newborn/baby/toddler/preschooler? Want to try out a specific sling? Need some help with a carrier you already have? Want to meet other local parents?

Come along and browse our selection of slings suitable for newborns right up to toddlers - see them demonstrated and borrow them to try at home. We also have some available to buy or order at the sessions - you can have it fitted and set up for you!

All welcome including partners, expectant parents and family. Please book if you can. It's completely free to attend.

Hire costs are just £15 for 4 weeks, which includes support to find the right one for you, trying on options and getting the fit set up. Free Stretchy Wrap Hire

If your baby is under 6 weeks old, you can borrow a stretchy wrap for FREE for 4 weeks. You can then extend your hire for a discounted £10/month. To reserve, simply click here and select a "boba wrap" from the inventory.

About Duke Street ChurchThere is a small carpark with accessible spaces, lots of on-street parking and a larger carpark at the top of the road. It’s about a 6-7 minute walk to the center of Sutton Coldfield.

Buses 5, 66, 76, 77, 77B, 77S, 110, 907 Platinum, X3 Platinum, X4, X5 Platinum stop on Birmingham Road nearby. While this venue is a church, the Belmont suite where sling library is held does not have any religious iconography. Next door, free infant feeding support is available from qualified NCT Breastfeeding Counsellors and Breastfeeding Peer Support Volunteers at Bumps & Babies Baby Cafe.
