Join CITI Michigan in the Upper Peninsula for an introduction to the CIT International Model, conversation, connection, and collaboration!
Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) International, Michigan is a new state office that supports the development, implementation, and sustainability of CIT Programs across the state. CIT Programs are evidence-based, cross-system partnerships that work to improve community response to mental health crises. We invite you and/or your representative(s) to join us at our first regional networking event in Marquette, Michigan, to learn more about how we can support CIT efforts in your community. Come connect with other law enforcement agencies, mental health providers, community leadership, community-based organizations, and advocates in your region, to discuss ways to improve programs, better collaborate, and strengthen your partnerships.
Food and refreshments will be provided.
Who is encouraged to attend?: Law enforcement, community leaders, behavioral health providers, community resources, advocates, and anyone who is excited about building stronger crisis response systems in your community!
Location: 540 W. Kaye Ave, Marquette, MI 49855 (Northern Michigan University, Northern Center Ballrooms I and II)
