Join us for a night of powerful Yiddish songs celebrating resilience and strength in the face of adversity.

About this Event

Mazel Tov Kocktail Hour will present a brief selection of songs that highlight the Yiddish cultural tradition of resistance to tyranny and oppression. This is a lighter version of our 75 minute presentation, and be presented without slideshow. This event is produced with support from the Texas Folklife Mentor-apprentice grant program. The event is ticketed, for those who wish to support the musicians, and no one will be refused entry for lack of funds. All ages are welcome! Trigger warning: serious issues of genocide, mass M**der, and mass death may be discussed. There will also be drinking songs.
