Join us for a golden hour stroll through Lansdowne and learn how to take beautiful, professional-looking photos using just your phone!
We’ll meet at Utility Works and head out on a guided tour of the neighborhood, where you’ll learn:
- How to use your phone’s camera settings to their fullest
- Tips for composition, lighting, and capturing dynamic angles
- Easy editing techniques to enhance your images
- A few fun pieces of Lansdowne history along the way
Whether you’re brand new to photography or just want to see your town through a new lens, this workshop is a great way to connect with your creativity—and your community—during the most photogenic time of day.

Bring your phone, wear comfortable shoes, and get ready to walk, learn, and capture the beauty of Lansdowne!
We also recommend bringing a waterbottle and whatever you need to walk in the heat.
Meet the Instructor:
Michael Lobis is an award-winning photographer based in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Michael is inspired by the world around him and finding new perspectives in which to perceive it. Through macro lenses and aerial drone footage, Michael is constantly examining and reinterpreting our natural and built environments. Most recently, Michael is the recipient of the Beyond Beautiful 2024 Black and White Photo of the Year.
