About this Event

Head upstairs to the Terrace Gallery at Cherry Street Pier this August for Weaving on the Waterfront, a colorful and hands-on fiber art exhibit by Pier artist-in-residence Bonnie MacAllister, with featured work by Philly artist Jamie Campbell.

The gallery will showcase beautifully woven and handspun pieces made from recycled materials and natural fibers. The exhibit also highlights a special community project—original weavings created on no-waste looms during free First Friday workshops.

Join us for the Opening Reception on First Friday, August 1, from 5 pm to 7 pm.

About the Artists: is a fiber artist and educator who leads engaging workshops in embroidery, felting, dyeing, and upcycling. She’s also a current Studio 16 resident at Cherry Street Pier.

Jamie Campbell is a Philly-based fiber artist, puppet maker, and creative powerhouse who blends nature, folklore, and found materials into imaginative works that tell a story.
