South Brooklyn Running Club's annual alleycat race between two Superfund sites.

About this Event

SfSR 2025, hosted by South Brooklyn Running Club, will take you from Newtown Creek to the Gowanus Canal. The course is up to you, but the start and finish lines are set. As always, it's all about elapsed time — the fastest route may not be the shortest one!

The start location will be the same as last year — in Queens on the north side of the Creek, at 11th Street and 50th Avenue, under the Pulaski Bridge. So your run will take you over the Pulaski Bridge to Brooklyn!

We will end in front of Sunny's in Red Hook (253 Conover Street). Join us there for a complimentary beer, awards, and general fun.

The race will start at 9 PM. The finish line will close at 10:30 PM. Awards thereafter!

All profits go to the Gowanus Canal Conservancy.
