The SFNOMA Project Pipeline Architectural Summer Camp is an excellent opportunity for middle and high school students to learn STEAM skills.

About this Event

This workshop is part of a national initiative by over twenty NOMA chapters across the country called Project Pipeline - the mission is to help diversify the architecture and planning professions by focusing on providing youth from underrepresented cultures interested in architecture and community planning into the career "pipeline" at the early stages of development.

The camp is designed to expose youth to the built environment, architecture fundamentals, and the profession. Students collaboratively address community-focused issues through creativity and design innovation with a real project site, while learning about sketching, diagramming, technical drawing, model making, and more. The curriculum was created to equip, empower and educate youth through architectural design and engineering techniques.

  • Learn about architecture, design, planning and community development
  • Learn from real architects, designers, and community members.
  • Gain design and leadership skills through designing a project.
