Reverse Yr Curse "Who Cares" Single Release w Serqet and Burns Burly West
About this Event
Richmond artful indie trio REVERSE YR CURSE are releasing their full length album in September. “Where Are we Going and When Will We Get There?” will feature 9 genre-bending songs about things like honoring oneself, persevering in poverty, insomnia, and ghosts from the past. “Who Cares,” is the first single off the album, and will be released at the end of July. It’s a song about being depressed but finding the strength to go out for a night anyway. The single is being released as a lovely and enchanting video, made by local filmmaker Carter Amos. Matt Lively, one of the city’s foremost painters and public art makers, loaned his property, time and hands to the production.
Saturday August 2, after not having played live since January, REVERSE YR CURSE will finally celebrate the rolling out of their new music at Gallery 5! Joining them are fellow Richmond independent sound purveyors, SERQET and BURNS BURLY WEST, dealing in post-punk-psych, and indie-alt-rock respectively.
