About this Event
🌿 Nature Walk in Galloway – Explore Wildlife, Ecology & Land Recovery
A Guided Outdoor Experience in Southern Scotland
What’s it all about?
Come and join us for a guided nature walk through a private nature restoration site in Galloway. Over the last 15 years, we've witnessed this land come alive with wildlife, flora, and fascinating changes. This 1–2 hour walk blends ecology, wildlife, land recovery, and an exploration of how the land tells its own story.
Led by artists who’ve worked closely with this landscape, you’ll gain insights into the return of species, the recovery of habitats, and the slow transformations happening in this part of Southern Scotland.
What to Expect:
A guided walk (less than a mile, but over steep and uneven ground)
Insight into the nature recovery process and the return of wild species
Stories of ecology, wildlife, and how art intersects with the land
Time for reflection, observation, and connection with nature
A relaxed and informal atmosphere with plenty of space for questions and curiosity
Good to Know:
Booking essential – limited to 12 people per group
£30 per person
Private walk available for £95 (message us for info)
Dress for the weather, and bring sturdy footwear and curiosity
We walk will in drizzle, but not in extreme weather conditions
Accessibility note: We can do our best to accommodate varying needs, so please reach out if you have concerns about terrain or mobility
