About this Event

Children's Advocacy Center - Hope House will host Human Trafficking 102: Labor Trafficking to equip professionals and community members to recognize, respond to, and report labor trafficking using a trauma-informed approach. This free training, which will be held at Hope House in Covington (223 W. 28th Avenue) from 6-7:30PM, will be presented by Hope House staff member Cayla Colwell, Youth Trafficking Care Coordinator. As complimentary dinner and refreshments will be provided for all registrants, please allow a 24-hour advance notice if you need to cancel for any reason.

The training will focus on labor trafficking, its common forms, risk factors, recruitment trends and more. This training also includes specific components on trauma informed care for victims.
