HVJ C/O 1995 30 Year Reunion - Homecoming 2025

It is the 30-year anniversary of our entry into life beyond HVJ. We look forward to celebrating again during homecoming weekend in Savannah!

About this Event

Our 30 Year High School Class Reunion will be commemorated with events over a two-day weekend. The reunion committee has worked hard over the past several months to curate a memorable and affordable experience for us, our families, and our friends.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2025: Warrior Homecoming Tailgate Party

6:00PM-11:00PM

We will kick off the weekend with a Warrior Tailgate Party at the 2025 Homecoming Game. Join us at Memorial Stadium as the Jenkins Warriors take on the Calvary Day Cavaliers. In homage to our high school mascot, Sequoyah, the event will opened by an official of the Cherokee Nation. This show of respect for the land upon which we all came of age reflects the maturity, and sophistication that comes with 30 years of life experience, especially as most of us approach 50 years on Earth: our "Wise Warrior" years. Once we open the event, it's party time. Pick up your reunion t-shirt, catch up with friends, and dance to the music as we welcome each other home. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. BYOB. Game time: 7:30pm

TAILGATE COST: The total ticket cost for the weekend is $20.00 + $3.18 Eventbrite processing fee per ticket. This is an adults only event. Tickets must be purchased online via Eventbrite.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2025: Family & Friends Lakeside BBQ

11:00AM - 3:00PM

We will host a picnic (rain or shine) at the pavillion in Lake Mayer Savannah, GA. This park is a r eturn to familiar place where many of us spent playing ball, paddle boating, feeding ducks, or running/walking the perimeter. This daytime event is a more mellow vibe, where family and friends from our old neighborhoods and other HVJ classess will come together for BBQ, fellowship, and fun. The event includes BBQ and non-alcoholic beverages. This event is open to all ages.

LAKESIDE BBQ COST: The total ticket cost for the weekend is $20.00 + $3.18 Eventbrite processing fee per ticket. There is no charge for children (under age 18 years old) who attend the Saturday BBQ. Tickets must be purchased online via Eventbrite.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2O25: 30 Reunion Banquet & Dance

7:00PM-11:59PM

We will culminate the weekend with a Vegas themed banquet dinner and dance at the Hyatt Regency Savannah's Harborview Ballroom (directly on the Riverfont Plaza). The night will feature a brief program, dazzling decor, exquisite culinary & drink selection, great music and joyful journeys down memory lane. So much has changed in the world over the last 30 years and some of our HVJ Warriors are no longer here with us to celebrate the occassion. We will honor the memories of our classmates and teachers who have passed on and uphold the legacy of Jenkins High by coming together for friendship and fellowship. This is an adults only event.

VEGAS BANQUET COST: The total ticket cost for the weekend is $110.00 + $9.22 Eventbrite processing fee per ticket. Tickets must be purchased online via Eventbrite.
