Night at the Triton: A Y2K Art Party

Come and hang for a night at the museum, throwing it back to the 2000s!

Overview:

Let’s take it back about 20 years. It’s time to get nostalgic. Come and join us for our Y2K Night at the Triton! Come and hang out with us, enjoying the fun and memories of an iconic era.

The night will consist of:

• Live art demos from a variety of artists
• Early 2000s music
• Group/solo themed art activities
• Food/drinks
• Karaoke
• More!

Dress Code:

Whether your Y2K aesthetic was grungy, retro-futuristic, blinged out, etc. - bring it back. Dressing up is highly encouraged. However, no pressure, of course. Feel free to dress however you like, just be comfortable!

Refreshments:

Light refreshments and snacks will be provided for casual munching. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Please have your ID.

Accessibility: Our museum is ADA accessible and is a single-floor venue. Accessible parking is available directly adjacent to the museum.

Free, mostly:

This event is free! But there will be things that are available for purchase, so make sure to bring your wallet, just in case. Also, tips and donations are great in cash.

The Vision:

A few staff members started Night at the Triton some time back with the purpose of creating a space to hang out, make crafts, have a drink, as well as meet and enjoy the art of local, emerging artists. After some time off, we're bringing it back.

We're always trying to find ways to be more than "just a museum," so hopefully this is (once again) the first of many social events we can throw!
